“Most of those experiences I will probably never share publicly, because, while I often venture well off the beaten path in my commentary, if I discussed those experiences people will think I’m way more insane than they already believe me to be”

I know exactly, though not specifically, what you’re talking about here. Religious/Spiritual/etc experiences are more common than we know, even among some materialists. They’re just embarrassed to admit it.

In general, it sounds like you’re implying that a Black Swan event is about to occur, Caitlin.

That’s our only hope. Voting doesn’t do sht. Activism or ‘shouting at buildings’ as Peter Joseph calls it, is ineffective. The downside of a high impact unexpected world-changer, of course, is that we don’t really know where the ripples will spread to, or where the event is going to come from.

Some of the consequences will affect our beliefs in ways that we’re not emotionally prepared for. An awakening is a good thing overall, but it’s also going to hit some nerves. Even yours, C.J. Love you, by the way.

Bring it on. I’m not ready ; most of us aren’t. But I’d rather survive to another century with battle scars, than not survive at all.
