Why the hell aren’t more pundits saying this? It’s so obvious that if you have to ‘push’ someone ‘to the left’, then they aren’t really there to begin with. And any promises they make, has the same status as any other campaign promise. There’s no contract here, to lean on. We don’t have the force of law, on our side.

It’s incomprehensible that a lifetime of deception by politicians — a fact that we keep repeating, over & over — hasn’t taught us the futility of believing any fkng thing that they say.

Caitlin, I stopped donating to you as much, not because of our disagreements. But because you seemed to have so many followers, that you didn’t need the contributions as much. That was after one of your interviews with Dore a few years back.

But I have to send you something today. Because you are the ONLY person — and that includes Michael Tracey — who stated this obvious truism.

Why in the world, do we attach any weight to the strategy of demanding concessions? This isn’t a negotiation, and we don’t have a ‘seat at the table’. This is a rape of the planet and all intelligent life. They aren’t going to ‘give’ us anything, because they aren’t afraid of us.
