Distrust and Skepticism — the proper default position towards candidates for public office

After you’ve experienced years of betrayal, killings, deceptions, environmental destruction, and manipulation of the media — most of it surreptitious — then an attitude of distrust should be your first reaction, when a candidate promises you anything.

There ARE unique individuals like Jeremy Corbyn and Ron Paul and Ralph Nader, who all remained steadfast. These people are the exception.

You don’t owe ANY candidate your vote, or your trust. It is THEIR job to convince you.

We should have already learned this by now.
