Damn. I’m in a contentious mood, but can’t find anything here to disagree with.

Ben Swan’s take on both Kavanaugh & Ford seems reasonable, but Kavanaugh is confirmed, regardless of what we think.

More importantly, regardless of whether he’s qualified or not ; regardless of whether a 17-year-old alleged actions reflect the moral character of his future middle-aged self ; regardless of whether Ford actually had the experiences she believes — we’re screwed. Climate Change, and possibly A.I. in the hands of our beloved Corporations, will tear us apart even worse than we’re tearing each other. The Kavanaugh hearings and his subsequent swearing in, are relatively unimportant.

Bye-bye, humans. Nobody will miss us.
